REQUIREMENTS:Your child must be 2.0 before their start date and does not need to be potty trained.

GOALS OF THIS CLASSROOM: 

In this classroom, students will receive a warm and loving introduction to

preschool. We will support your child’s comfort with attending preschool and we’ll

focus on them building a foundation of basic life skills, language, and exploration.

Children in this classroom will be given opportunities to:
 

• Master basic potty training skills

• Learn personal hygiene traditions, such as hand washing, feeding themself, nose

wiping, and covering coughs.

• Experience learning through all their 5 senses

• Develop collaborative play skills, such as sharing

• They will grow their ability to appropriately express their wants and needs with

developmental appropriateness

• Explore language through an introduction to language and literacy activities such as

Zoo-phonics, stories, songs, and circle time

• Develop their English language through immersion and modeling

• Express themselves through diverse enrichment centers

• Develop physically through daily large and fine motor activities

• Discover pre-math and science concepts through activities such as

sorting, matching, counting, blocks, sand and water play, cooking,

gardening, and more hands-on learning

• Develop self-help skills and positive communication skills

• Grow in personal, spiritual, and social awareness through group activities, dramatic

play, and Bible stories
